SUP Yoga Teacher TrainingYoga Alliance YACEP–Eligible Continuing EducationThis Yoga Alliance YACEP–eligible Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga training blends traditional yoga principles with the grounding, meditative experience of practicing on the water. The course explores the history of yoga and paddle boarding, essential water safety and risk management, equipment knowledge, balance mechanics, intelligent sequencing, and effective teaching methodology specific to SUP Yoga classes. Designed for yoga teachers and wellness professionals, this training emphasizes safety, accessibility, and confidence—both for instructors and their students. Participants learn how to adapt mat-based yoga to an unstable surface, cue clearly in an outdoor environment, manage groups on water, and create inclusive, beginner-friendly experiences. The training also includes business development and professional best practices, covering permits, partnerships, insurance considerations, marketing, and how to integrate SUP Yoga into studios, retreats, seasonal programming, and continuing education offerings. Offered as a hybrid training format with both online and on-water components, this Yoga Alliance YACEP–eligible SUP Yoga training provides instructors with the practical skills, knowledge, and tools needed to safely and successfully bring yoga to the water.
